The football match between the super eagles of Nigeria and the stars of Malawi ended in a 2 - 0 score in favor of Nigeria. This has led the super eagles to the knockout round.
The first goal was scored by Emmanuel Emenike at the very end of the first half, min. 45+1.
In the 52nd minute, another goal was put in Malawi's net through a penalty chance, by the new Liverpool's signing, Victor Moses.
though it was a bit of a surprise that the super eagles could not score against 10 man Malawi, due to the 2 yellow cards received by Limbikani Mzava, but have secured their place in the final qualifying round of the Brazil 2014.
