Commanding Officer of Special Operations Battalion in Mubi,
Lt. Col. Beyidi Martins, confirmed that 11 Boko Haram suspects have been
arrested on Saturday by a vigilante group in Michika, Adamawa. Two
suspects died.
Martins said the suspects were arrested by men of the battalion and JTF from Maiduguri with the assistance of civilian JTF.
Six
of the suspects were taken to Maiduguri by the JTF, five - to Mubi.
Four of the five suspects taken to Mubi were manhandled by the civilian
JTF when they resisted arrest. Two of the suspects died due to injuries.
“Two others died today (Sunday) of injuries. We now have one still alive and is being interrogated,” Martins said.
well, at least we are getting somewhere at stopping all these murders.
